We are purple and orange, all the wrong colors - splotched skin, spiderbites, lovebites - we are what is wrong with the world today. We do not pray at our bedsides, we do not wear our scarves and our skirts, we breed scandal, we break glorious gold tradition.
We are Jack's inflamed unbearable lightness: untethered like the spawn of immigrants: Mother, see? I am going to marry a Catholic Man! It's the cigarettes and the sex appeal, we have these husky voices and these short skirts and we are looking for something that makes us feel. The sky won't do it the drugs don't cut it we want love and we want agony.
You are trying to protect our white selves from sin and cancer but the sun loves us we have got to crash and burn sometime.
