Good news, bad news.

Good news: Today while watching the game my 20 month old daughter identified a touchdown. She could say "fooball" and "tousdown" and make the signal already, but today she did it appropriately. This is a source of much pride for me. 
Bad news: My husband's flight home was canceled because he was supposed to come back to the country through Dulles. I know there are much worse things happening in that region and I hope everyone is safe, but I was good and patient for six months and now am seriously bummed. He does get to stay in a hotel in Kuwait rather than a base though, so he got to get his passport stamped. He was hoping to get to do that.
I know it's only one more day after six months but this one day really sucks.

Having to wait another day totally sucks. But it will be that much sweeter to have him finally home
