Uram frowned at the news. He did not like simply taking what was available. Ogier did not turn bandit. His brothers were also frowning, their grumbling sounds added to the ominous background noises.

With some effort, Uram forced his ears to their upright position, and his lips out of the frown. It would take more effort than he could muster to feign a smile.

"Young one, we would prefer to pay for what we need. My brothers and I could sing to the village crops, or if you have wooden items that need mending, we could repair those as well."
