It's past noon now, and the everything still looks hazy, as though seen through a thick, heavy fog. Every splash of the waves breaking against the keel seems to echo too loudly, and there is hardly anything else to be heard. Really, maybe you abused your bounty just a tiny a bit too much yesterday.

But wait, that's no effect of the alcohol after all! You look around you, puzzled. You've been sailing these seas for most of your lifetimes now, and you've never seen anything like this. And it's grown colder too, you can see your every breath misting before you, slowly joining with the ambient fog.

Whoever it is that raises the cry, he wasn't in the crow's nest. "Ghost Ship!" they shout, and a dark, formless silhouette of a ship the likes of which you have never seen before. Indeed, it more than a thousand years old, a large hexareme mouldy and rotting, its hull encrusted with barnacles, its sails tattered and limp in the still air. If it bore a flag, you could not see it. Figures move aboard the ship, bearing pointy things you cannot distinguish. It sails next to you with uncanny speed, intent on boarding. In desperation, the Crook and Hook fires its cannons even as the first lines are thrown over the railing. The ghost ship seems not to care about your defences at all.

The crew rallies to repel boarders, but strangely enough, none are forthcoming. At last, a plank is dropped between the two ships. Curious, the Captain orders you to wait as a single silhouette steps forth from the Ghost ship.

"Ahoy me hearties!" yells a water swollen Black Katie as she scratches her back. "I be still havin' a job to do here, aye?"

You are uncertain how to respond to that. Who knows the motives of the dead?
