House Generica has 12000 MS, 14000 if the Slush Fund gets disbursed, and has goals that focus on Agri Fiefs, Ore Mines, and Semuta. I see an Ore Mine and an Agri Fief up there, and I definitely want them, I don't want the other two luxuries because I'll be busy enough guarding Semuta, but I'm not bidding on Semuta yet, or the two ore mines in the full auction phase, because I want to see how the first early bid will go, but seeing those Full bids tells me I definitely want to reserve some money for the latter phase. I sure wouldn't mind getting that Elite Mercenary Band or the Hero or that upgrade token, so I'll bid with that in mind, and NB the mod with a tilte "Bid: Round 1 Early"

Note everything got really abridged but it doesn't matter because intent is clear and there's no room for confusion, 'hero would be vague but E1G isn't, Earlier-Round 1-Item G, E1G, and is unlikely to be confused with the entries above or below it. Of course a player could also just copy and past the whole auction entry, delete the ones they don't like, and replace min bid with their bid... which is actually what I did but then I abridged everything to demonstrate the 'clear intent' point. Note the bids, typically about 50% over the min bid, but not for Agri or Ore, because I really want them, now the Ore is unguarded but the Agri Fief comes with 1 unit of militia, so it's probably worth more, so I probably should have bid different amounts. Currenlty we have no idea what the normal winning bid will be, but as winning bids will be announced on any public CHOAM Auction we'll probably get a good idea, players should probably be a touch conservative initially. Were I to win all 5 bids I'd be out 11,300 MS, money probably well spent but even with my 12k starting money I couldn't afford to recruit any legions and barely could move any, of course that 2k disbursement will help, but I could miss out on good deals in the late phase and I realistically won't have enough to bid on the Semuta. Good strategy? Hard to say...
