I take it that asking for names is out of the question? Or would the King's murderer in the play (Macbeth) not automatically be one of the bad guys?
I think it's time to read The Tragedy for the first time in AGES to see what it says about each of the Thanes. I think it's going to be a little above nothing for those that are named separately on the Wiki Page (Ross, Lennox, Angus, Menteith, Caithness). Just stage filler.

If we are really these Seven, it means that we do not have Lady Macbeth, Lady Macduff or the Witches.
