And right now the others are seeing a murky cloud of weirdness going on and that makes them look at me, but you know me better, and you're a schemer too. I'm good, but I can't make people produce series of errors like that. All the weirdness, none of it can be of my doing. I couldn't make Stephen botch his coded RC, present a needless and risky HC, or risk killing himself and outing our cop by apparently claiming to be cop with no evidence to back it up via coded RC.
The whole point of a HC is that you can claim a result and if you are killed and we find out you were the cop, we can use the information later on. If he's really the cop, this is not a needless and risky HC, it's his job. He just got lucky on the first night. Are you suggesting he should have posted a random result, just because he didn't have hard proof? That defies all the reasons we do HCing.
ASKING for the HC was a strange step, though, but that doesn't make it "Top Ten anti-town actions". Precisely because he didn't have the hard evidence, he wanted to do it via HC and maybe survive and be useful for an extra Night. Then he got baited and therefore claimed more than he intended to at first. (Which was inevitable, but he could have thought it was worth a try.) Granted, the RC and "also coding" was not a really strong move either, but still not Top Ten.
What is suspicious is that you baited Stephen, just because he HC'ed you. Most people wouldn't be concerned, as a HC from a non-cop is random. The only reason why you would want to bait somebody is when you're found guilty AND YOU ARE. You need to find out if it's a random fluke, or if there's a change of the cop staying around. If it's a real cop: he needs to be killed as soon as the sun sets and everybody understands that as soon as he's exposed. If it's a random fluke: he might still get killed at night and everybody will understand that, but you have your hands free as a scummer to do something else. If he survives the Night he will look even more suspicious to the rest and get Lynched Tomorrow. Either way, there's still a chance he might get Lynched Today as a result from the discussion. Win-win for the Scums.
I stick to my vote. Also because you get more verbose as soon as you're about to get exposed, and because you are a logical first person to target from a Cult Leader POV.
Remember, whatever the actions of Day 1: working on the Cult theory, everybody was Town, except for the SK and the Cult Leader. So we're looking for changes in behavior, not just for strange events in Day 1. If Stephen is Scum, he's either the Cult leader or he was Town on Day 1. So: if Isaac turns out to be Town, we Lynch Stephen Tomorrow and the head's cut of: Win.
The mystery deepens... I think. *MySmiley*
