I advise studying less, 99% of everyone I know spends 99% of their time studying by either staring glaze-eyed at the topic or postponing working on it, wastes lots of time and energy. You learn subjects by taking a genuine interest in them, most homeschoolers, self-included, spent maybe an hour a week tops in any form of 'learning' and out score everyone else consistently. It's almost painful to watch people 'study', and I tended to have better luck with my students by spending half the time bullshitting with them and relaying various anecdotes and stories about the interesting people in physics, once their mind was engaged they'd pick up the information in five or ten minutes what should have taken 50, and they were rarely late and never watched the clock and always outscored the other classes.
