During the course of a round, four things always happen that are my responsibility, those would be the first four responses to this thread: Crisis, Forecast, Auction and Gossip.

The Crisis is an important issue that the Senate must vote on. Resolution of the issue one way or another bring different consequences to the players. This may be something you want to discuss in this thread, because players at this point (and generally never) have enough Senators to ensure their desired outcome is achieved without the cooperation of other players. Especially in cases like this where the issue is divisive, it behooves the players to convince others to vote accordingly to their interests. You have to submit your vote to me privately before deadline.

The Forecast tells you what is in play in the relevant categories, this can help you predict how much of the victory pot is currently in your grasp, and how well you are doing compared to other players. This hasn't been posted yet because I'm waiting to create beetnemesis' Family for the up-to-date information.

The Auction is a set of opportunities you may acquire. You just noteboard me how much you are willing to bid on each item in the list. The number-letter identification before each item is to simplify this operation for the players, you can simply send me 1A - 2000
1B - 1750
1C - 1 333

and so forth. Remember that this is a private auction, send me your bids by noteboard, not by posting here.

The local gossip contains some information about recent happenings, of questionable accuracy. You can learn things by paying attention, but it can also be incorrect or even deliberate lies spread by other players.

Finally, there may or may not be public or private events generated by the moderator (me) on any given round.

This is also the time where you can perform all the actions you wish. Troop movement actions occur at the end of the round, and relevant actions also occur at this point, but in most cases you can issue an action at any time.
