And so our story begins in Ankh-Morpork, the twin city of proud Ankh and pestilent Morpork, the biggest city in Discworld. A city where magic is just another job, and where the Tower of Art of the Unseen University for Wizards looms over all the dark narrow streets...

But the Day dawns bring light and hope to the city and shining down on the streets

And What is this?

Murder!

Murder most vile, a dwarven smith from Ram Top Mountains has been found slain with a Hippo branded upon him.

Elsewhere in the City a building has been smashed down as though by some massive battering ram, and confused reports claim a mob carrying a long piece of timber on wheels with a large unseen ram-tip knocked it over.

Perhaps that tip was a Hippo's head? Who can say?

Pamphlets from the new Hippo League all over the city, decrying foreigners flooding the city and calling on the patrician to kick them out. Other printed sheets proclaim the wonders of Undeath and how all should embrace it. Yet other pamphlets speak of a distant god named Om, though admittedly such things are not rare. The Watch is overwhelmed as fights break out between Foreigners and locals, Dwarves and Trolls, and Barbarian Heroes with Magic Swords. Though this also is not rare.

What shall the brave citizens of Ankh-Morpork do? Sing the National Anthem? Flee the city? Join the Hippos?

The Game has begun, the Deadline for Day 1 is Wednesday October 9th.
