"He's got some in his stomach, but he doesn't seem to have breathed any. I'd bet he hit his head shortly before washing ashore. I've almost scraped my head on the bottom of lakes before during a storm, so in a mess like this I could see why he would have."

Yyrees tweaks one of her fingers at the sky and a crow flies down. "Go tell the settlement we may have company, should our guests choose to accept it. We will wait for the dwarf to come around and to see if any other survivors arrive, and hopefully we will be headed home before long."

The crow takes off inland, headed almost straight west.
