I thought her and her husband were in real estate together. Real estate gives you a really flexible work schedule, but I wouldn't call it "stay at home mom".

In the episode where she meets her old friend who is still climbing the corporate ladder she describes herself as a stay-at-home mom; she is also never seen doing anything with real estate but he is shown showing houses.
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...
