I think Amy has more of an excuse to lack chemistry than Rose did. After all, she has been dreaming of the Doctor since she was a kid. I have the feeling she settled for this other guy. And he is much, much more appealing than Mickey. But that is a side point.

I liked the episode, but not as much as the last one. And I was not a great fan of the CGI fish people. In fact, the only monsters I have been happy with this season have been the angels. That might be me, though.

But I liked the explanation for why they do not show up in mirrors. And the "think of the children" comment. And "tell me the whole plan!".

The Doctor doesn't tend to agonise too much about killing/leaving to die people who are attempting mass murder. And this version of the doctor as a whole seems to agonise much less about that sort of thing in general.
