A final thought. I had wondered why Jacob didn't fight back or make any effort to defend himself when UnLocke brought Ben into his lair.


I think it was Miles that told Ben that Jacob didn't try and stop him because he was still holding out hope that he was wrong about Ben and he wouldn't go through with it.
