Just had to mention that I finally got around to purchasing Avatar on bluray.....and damn! From a visual standpoint, this is easily the most stunning and beautiful bluray yet. Every aspect of the movie just pops with incredible clarity, contrast and color.
As for the movie itself, since my initial theater viewing it remains decent, but has some major flaws that continue to be bothersome. It's so visually pleasing to watch however, so it will remain a popular pull off my shelf.
