It's been a very long time since I've seen the Valeyard episodes so I could be missing information, but could it be possible that the Doctor stuck the other side of the cracks becomes the Valeyard. I just think it's possible that The Doctor stuck all by himself could eventually go mad and change personality. All this assumes that The Doctor survived going through the crack and didn't just cease to exist.
