I'm enjoying the show a lot, but I am not sure if I would actually rave about it. Its a good show, with some really great performances from several of the stars, and some interesting side story lines. But I do find it to sometimes be predictable; of course, its a vampire romance intrigue mystery show, so that shouldn't be too surprising.
My favorite part of the show are the supporting characters, whether human or vampire (or other). I'm not that into the Bill and Sookie stuff as much as I am the rest of the stories.
Almost finished with season 2, and am looking forward to watching the rest. This is after all the best of the vampire television shows I have ever seen. Gotta luv cable networks!

That's usually a good sign
but you're right. I watched the first 11 (I didnt watch the finale was how little I cared), but I disliked Bill and Sookie.
The characters I did like and care about? Lafayette, Jason, and Alexander Skarsgard
