I had Netflix for about a year and a half and basically loved it. I quit Netflix for a while, and when I wanted to re-up again, I decided to give Blockbuster a shot.
Netflix:
send the movie in on Monday, they receive it Tuesday, you have your new movie by Wednesday.
Blockbuster:
Send the movie in on Monday, they MIGHT get it by Wednesday, they send it back to you by Thursday and you receive it by maybe Saturday.
I'm not sure what Blockbuster has for the Watch it Now, but I'm LOVING this feature in Netflix. And if you have a Wii you can Watch Now on hour tv.
Oh, and Blockbuster had long wait times for many many shows. And not just new movies either. As far as I'm concerned, Blockbuster sucked.

We live near a Netflix DC, so return times and receipt times are really quick. I was wondering what that was like with Blockbuster, because I really don't want to drive to a store all the time.

We do redbox too, but we're way out in the boonies so returning them can be a pain.

That is why they're doing it. Blockbuster had to pay extra to get it on the date of release.

I might try Blockbuster's mailing service. Going to look into what they can stream, etc.

Delistings definitely not a good sign. Knew they were in trouble, but that's pretty bleak. *NM*
