Aidan Gillen, best-known for his role as the lead in the UK QUEER AS FOLK and as Mayor Tommy Carcetti in THE WIRE, has been cast as Lord Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish.

This is the highest-profile casting since the original round of casting decisions taken for the pilot, and is an excellent choice. Gillen is a great actor.

In other news, the relatively lesser-known Jamie Sives has been cast as Jory Cassel and Ian McElhinnie is Ser Barristan Selmy.
