I like it. I like Sherlock, and I like Watson. And I like Lestrade. And I love Mycroft. And yes, I was convinced Mark Gatiss was Moriarty.
So was I - he was clearly an important character to the series rather than the episode and he doesn't match the decription of Mycroft as carrying excess weight (explained in his response to Holmes) and being fairly oblivious and uninterested in the day to day world's details as he was too busy thinking of the global picture. The fact he was trying to actively keep an eye on holmes doesn't really fit
If we are going to look at what doesn't really fit, we could start with cell phones and work our way back.
