I don't mind the contest or career shows, but loathe other reality or matchmaking ones.

So, Top Chef, Hell's Kitchen, Deadliest Catch, Survivor are okay. (though I don't really keep up with any of them) Survivor can be pretty dumb at times, too, but I enjoy some of the physical challenges. Haven't watched for 3-4 seasons, though.
On my "can't stand" list are shows like Kate+8, Jersey Shore, Big Brother, or nearly anything that says I'm supposed to care about <insert pseudo-celeb>, etc. Too much drama and daily minutia.
All that being said, I don't even have cable TV. The few shows I watch are usually done on Hulu or network sites.
