Certainly not early on, anyway. She relies, in Roman Holiday, My Fair Lady and Breakfast at Tiffany's, etc, on her charm and big eyes. And, when it gets to the climactic moments - think the end of Breakfast when she's trying to get to the airport and sends the cat away, etc - she's incredibly unconvincing.

I love her films, but I don't watch them for her acting skill. I watch them for their quirk, her charm, and the leading men. :P
