I've seen eight but Cache is on tonight so I'll watch that. Stephen Send a noteboard - 01/09/2010 03:56:31 PM
I'm suprised Delicatessen isn't higher. I'd say it's one of the best films I've seen.

Also, the Night Watch doesn't deserve to be on it. I've seen the Russian and international edits and they're both only passable fantasy/action films.

Empire's 100 Best Films of World Cinema Legolas - 31/08/2010 02:50:01 PM 1783 Views
As for my quibbles with the list... Legolas - 31/08/2010 03:01:43 PM 1152 Views
Since it's "World Cinema," does that automatically exclude U.S. films? *NM* Palatine - 31/08/2010 05:51:00 PM 546 Views
It usually means non-English language films *NM* snoopcester - 31/08/2010 06:36:34 PM 523 Views
Not only that, it also seems to exclude British, Australian and other English-language ones. Legolas - 31/08/2010 07:57:19 PM 1005 Views
No one minds Australia's exclusion. All they make is bad Jackie Chan films. *NM* TaskmasterJack - 31/08/2010 10:55:18 PM 422 Views
Priscilla, Queen of the Desert would've been a shoe-in otherwise... *NM* Legolas - 01/09/2010 12:14:28 AM 440 Views

In fairness, Roberto Benigni being an overrated ass doesn't mean his only good film isn't good. Legolas - 01/09/2010 01:01:21 AM 1074 Views
