Yes, but does that work more than once? Are you still as scared the second time you see that?

2) Something we're vaguely familiar with and is usually comforting of positive, being twisted so that it's no longer the same, and in a negative ominous way.


That is textbook unheimlich. The different-but-same, or same-but-different.
