What do we think about this?

Plus point, Ridley Scot is directing.

Otherwise, I am a bit ambivalent about this prequel. Like has been said by other people, how can humans be featured in this film if Ripley and her crew in the first film were supposedly the first humans to encounter them?

And a film without human characters makes it very hard for the viewers to engage with the film.

Anyway, I am coming up with objections to a film that hasn't even gone in to production yet.

So, what are your thoughts?

It's been so long since I've seen those movies, I can't remember how the movie established that Ripley and co. were the absolute first to encounter them. Could it be that Ripley's case was the first with a survivor to tell the tale?

It would be a stretch, I know, but maybe? Or the old "the goverment knew but didn't tell anyone" story?

Maybe Ripley wasn't the first to meet them in this setting? - 14/09/2009 06:26:33 PM 533 Views
