Well, to be fair, Freeman is a much better actor than Elijah Wood, which is bound to raise the quality. But anyone willing to make a film with Peter Jackson needs to have their head examined. Also, aren't they undermining the strike of the actors in NZ?
The NZ actor's strike was called off, or at very least the action against The Hobbit was. However there seems to be a lot of bad blood between Jackson and the Union leaders and a move away from New Zealand is still a real possibility.
