Yeah, and the two votes against it haven't actually seen it, so...

haha, now I'm mildly curious anyway.
Well, you know, it's such a classic with a few so famous quotes that you kind of have to see it anyway. I'm just saying, don't expect too much of it. Dustin Hoffman is pretty much just an asshole, and the women in the movie are crazy for putting up with it.
And Apocalypse Now, while doubtlessly very important and all, is mostly a snorefest. The best scenes are in the beginning tbh, after that it just gets boring, and then there's Marlon Brando being fat and weird.
Hm. Now I'm really not sure. I thought it was scary also?
In a way, yes, there's the tension of moving through the jungle with an attack being possible at any time. But I really didn't like it. I think I may have watched the even longer Director's Cut, though, perhaps the shorter original version is more stomachable. Apocalypse Now really is one of those movies that you either love or hate, I think. Or, well, I don't hate it, but really dislike.
Which classic / famous / beloved films have you not seen?

Those last two are inexcusable. No wonder the Von Trapps were fleeing from your people.

I don't like Woody Allen either, but I'm not sure I've given him a chance.
