what ethnic culture are you from? Most guys i know wold rather sleep on the floor without a blanket than in a bed with another man. Even best friends, and that's before adding in that one of the men is gay.
I have nothing against some man on man action if that's what you are into, but most of the guys i know would never sleep in the same bed, even with a straight guy.

I'm Korean-American. In Korea, guys have no qualms of sharing a bed or sleeping space/blankets. Of course, it is less awkward between friends and family. This applies to the women as well. As long as there is no co-ed sleeping (unless you are married), it's fine.
Hell, Koreans are actually less uptight when it comes to personal space between same genders as well. We hug, walk arm-on-shoulder, etc. As long as it doesn't look blatantly homosexual, the public doesn't care.

I thought the editing was pretty clever. Each scene were literally connected to each other, haha.
