I think they continue to underutilize the setting, though - they're stuck on a huge, ancient starship, and they just don't seem to have explored nearly enough of it for a season and a half's worth of timeline. And the Stargate itself really is underused as well - I'd love to see Stargating replace bodyswap-stones more frequently. Despite those complaints, I keep coming back for more, so they must be doing something right.
