I remember those conversations quite well. Guess what the genesis of our discussions of the subject was: Debating the issue on the CMB and in chat. My definition may be unique to me, but it is thus valid for me.

if you really want to know how tall some of these celebrity crushes you have are, you should do what i did and pack up everything that you can fit in your car and move to LA :P granted, i think lenka was wearing heels when i met her but she is still shorter than me, ergo -- not "leggy" :|

also, mr's merriam & webster disagree with all of your personal definitions of "leggy" but, that's glory for you!
