Shakespeare's The Tempest, the 1st Sword & Sorcery story hits the big screen and it's amazeballs. Bookwyrm Send a noteboard - 06/12/2010 06:08:32 AM
So I just discovered that Shakespeare's "The Tempest" has been adapted for the big screen, starring Helen Mirren as Prospera and other highly talented and established actors. The movie will be out this upcoming Friday, Dec. 10th and I am so excited I could pee!

The dialogue remains Shakespearean a la DiCaprio's Romeo & Juliet. However, it is directed by Julie Taymor (Frida, Titus, Across the Universe) and gorgeously shot.

And that song at the end? Sæglópur by Sigur Ros. So fucking good. I'm glad they used that song and hope it's in the movie.

Are you excited as I am?
BOHICA - Go ahead, ask me what it means.

Why? Brand isn't that bad, and at least he got a role that closely projects his normal persona. *NM* - 07/12/2010 07:19:21 PM 206 Views
