I was also thinking that new non-Neo movies within The Matrix and its universe could be neat, but then recalled how The Matrix Online flopped. Yes, games aren't movies, but I think there are reasons why these things fail. I don't see how a movie with Neo would make sense, but he's been integral to the story so far.

Short answer: Could be neat, but reintroducing Neo makes me doubt it.
The sword might be grateful to the forge fire, but never fond of it.
