I do think you need to check your assumptions at the door about me probably not caring. Based on past precedence, I write spoilers if I am discussing something when composing an original post.
I figured I was safe since the post didn't say there would be spoilers, and I assumed it would have been tagged as such if there were.
When I'm logged in I have the MBs set to show posts in order of latest replies, and I'm still getting used to these wacky European dates
So I didn't actually notice it was posted the next day (even though I did know I was reading it the next day). But again, that's my own fault.
