your japanese transcription is horrible. Sayonara. Or possibly sayoonara, more properly, but less commonly used.


It would be better as sayounara (?????? or say?nara, but sayonara is the most common way of spelling it in English. :P


when o is followed by u, the proper transcription is 'oo' or the thing with the line across. :P


The bimoraic vowel 'o' is mostly written as ?? ,?not ??. Yes, there are exceptions, but this ain't one of'em. You're just using an effed up romanization system, as is fitting for a Swede :|


Well, in japanese you'd use yo followed by u. But as japanese is a very strange language when it comes to transcribing by sound, it is a long o, thus a oo. All my japanese teachers were adamant on this explanation... :P Not that we were allowed much transcribing.


Since you're too stubborn to admit I'm right, we'll have to settle for the version placing a macron over the 'o'. Har!
