I recall reading somewhere that Martin had asked Benioff and Weiss who they thought Snow's parents really were, and that he was happy with their answer.
And last night watching Bean's performance during several scenes, especially the scene with Robert, it seems as if Bean himself knows who Snow's parents really are. I figure he either was told, or he's read enough of the books to have figured it out.
Ned just couldn't look at Robert at all as they discussed Snow's parentage, because he couldn't lie to his king's while looking into the royal face. Well played Mr. Bean!
