The first three read by Dotrice are the finest read audiobooks I've ever listened to.

Another interesting point - the pronunciation of maester is established in this episode, and coincidentally, Maester Luwin is also apparently the reader of the books on tape. Angel fans may recall him looking a bit different as Roger Wyndam-Price, Wesley's psychologically abusive father.
The reader of the audio books for aSoIaF is Roy Dotrice, who was at one point cast to play (I believe) Grand Maester Pycelle. Dotrice did indeed play Wesley's father in the Buffy-verse. However, the actor playing Maester Luwin is Donald Sumpter.

Yeah, I thought some of his interactions with Arya seemed forced.
