Now the death of Aegon, Rhaenys, and Elia at the hands of Gregor Clegane is a very important plot point. It caused Oberyn to champion Tyrion, and Oberyn and Ella's father Doran is plotting death to the Lannisters.
Rhaenys was killed by one of Tywin's other pet monsters, whose name escapes me, not by Gregor.
Could it be I'm not the only one who needs to re-read the series to refresh his memory?

(And no, I don't resent you making that correction a few weeks ago, I just couldn't resist the opportunity to retaliate.
)Touche

(after consorting the internet) Amory Lorch is the one who killed Rhaenys and during the War of the Five Kings he was made lord of Harrenhal. He was eventually betrayed by the Brave Companions who took the castle at Roose Bolton's urging and was fed to a Bear

And rereading ASOIAF is on my to do list. I was actually going to start rereading AGoT last night, while enjoying a very long and very hot bath, but other things occurred instead last night
I think Sean Bean knows who Jon Snow's parents are
