The references in the comic are mostly video game/nerd related- you don't need a "comics background" to get them.


I really enjoyed the comics. Their only flaw, IMO, is that there are loads and loads of extremely minor characters. Like, the friend of a friend of a roommate level minor. Part of that is because of an overarching theme that says "Scott is not the center of the world, other people have lives too." Part of it is just because the author wanted to make it feel more realistic, I suppose.

That, combined with the art style (Which I adore, but many of the faces can be... similar) means that sometimes it's tough to realize who someone is.


(Oh, and SUPER minor nitpick: Ramona is always changing her hair color. It's a black and white comic. Sigh...)



Anyway, I hope you recognize the above for what it is, the nitpicking of a true fan. Go read it!
