Haven't got around to watching the Swedish versions. I have the understanding that the first is meant to be brilliant, and the second and third are poorly recut from a short tv series.
As for Rooney Mara, she was decent in her few scenes in the Social Network. She was Zuckerberg's ex at the beginning of it.
