So for anyone who's read the graphic novel ... is that how the comic ends? The evil plan to bring peace and love to humanity succeeds?

It does. In the graphic novel it's not a huge lightning storm that hits New York but a giant squid that is so surreal that people's heads just explode or something. I was okay with that change. The blame that goes to Dr. Manhattan is handled differently in the comic too. I am sure someone else is gonna remember it more detailed. I didn't think it was such a big deal.

The blame does not go to Dr Manhattan. It just creates a fear of something in a parallel dimension which might break through, making humanity band together.

Unlike a lot of people, I actually thought the ending did justice to the graphic novel - 21/06/2011 08:34:43 AM 666 Views

In the comic, there's a tiny hint that not everything will neccessarily go to plan. - 22/06/2011 04:56:53 AM 432 Views
