I had put off watching it because of all the bad reviews, and then I was surprised that so many people thought it shallow. It wasn't until my second viewing that I started picking up on Sweet Pea's full involvement in the story line, though; but I knew from the first viewing that it was more deep than many people were giving it credit for.
