I am much older and love them too, the originals still more by a bit, though.

It kinda bugs me how the Internet always assumes, EVERYone has to hate the prequels and love Joss Whedon and enjoy xkcd webcomics. And if they all jump down a cliff, the rest will follow. Well, surprise, surprise, tastes are like asses: split.

So kudos to you for loving the prequels and saying so :)
