Has anyone else watched this show? To date, it has only aired two episodes, but I thought that they were really good. If the interwebs aren't lying to me (as they are prone to do), this is a remake of a BBC series? Whatever...

Either way, this is a really good show. For those of you who are interested, think of it as much akin to 24. However its not so much in real-time, as its an action-drama. There are two main (so far) in-field operatives, an American & a Brit. A big difference from 24 is that the tech stuff that is used isn't crazy advanced.

More then anything, I was impressed by the writing. The story definately got deeper and took a turn (or two) that I wasn't expecting. It also uses real life events nicely (most notably the WMD's that were supposed to be in Iraq, but weren't). All in all, a series that definately has potential.

Do beware, since it is a Cinemax show (premium cable), they are allowed to be more graphic. This has all the language, sex, and violence that one would expect from a rated R movie. And if you have Cinemax, then you are probably aware of the types of shows that air "after dark".....so that should give you an idea of how graphic they can get. But ultimately, if you're in the mood for a good action series that actually has a plot, character development, and is just well done, you should try this show out.
