Is probably the least of my complaints about Star Wars. It is nowhere near as bad as the "Noooo!" at the end of Ep III.
Nowhere near as offensive as replacing Sebastian Shaw with Hayden Christiansen at the end of Ep VI.
And it annoys me much less than all the fan boys whining every time Lucas makes a change to HIS INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY!
It is a big fat SO THE FRAK WHAT!! Just like the whole thing about Han or Greedo shooting first. Han is a badass either way, so quit whining about it.
If it bothers you that much, why don't YOU go back a better movie than Lucas, and you can do it the way you want! And while you are at it, stop watching Star Wars movies, reading the books, and watching anything SW related.
Sometimes, I think fanboys complain just because it makes them feel good.
Especially this.
I don't really think the "Nooo" is a big deal here. One has to wonder what's going on in Lucas' head, when he gets up one morning and decides to change relatively random things in upcoming releases of his films, though.
Still: Last time I checked, the movies I grew up with were on the DVD set I have. So people can watch that and quit their whining. The only reason I am not getting the BluRay set is because I already own three versions of the films.

Do you mean VHS? Or perhaps you don't equate "Original" to what the rest of us do.

I'm pretty sure that Han shoots first in the DVDs we have, but I'll have to check.

The answer is to ignore the Blu-Ray release and buy the 2006 release instead.
