If it was the ganger Doctor who dies in The Impossible Astronaut, perhaps that explains the wine thing and the conversation about Easter Island with River. Though, the ganger Doctor supposedly had all of the Doctor's memories, which would have included the taste of wine. And it doesn't necessarily explain the fact that the Doctor who died started to regenerate, nor the fact that Moffat says it was the real Doctor. But if it is the ganger Doctor, I still say they're working together.
I suppose the different tastes depends on how long they have lived apart. Once they are separated, they should be able to develop differently. And 200 years is a while (although I am surprised to find that the Doctor doesn't age. That, I think could be another indication that it would be the ganger Doctor: he might not age.
