When I see her I hear the Rolling Stones' "Mother's Little Helper" start up in my mind. I think she's going to self-medicate herself into a state of drugged bliss.


I can definitely see that happening. But with the way she kicked Don out and how she worked the situation with her father I can see a more assertive Betty.


I think Betty is too passive to actually snap and break out. Even after that fling in the closet at the hotel bar, she just went back to who she was.


Not entirely. In the first season she was childish/naive. Throughout the second she started to realize that Don wasn't the man she thought he was and that forced some serious character growth. I'll admit that she still has the blinders on- but this time she knows she has them.
