Then I have to mention the final moment of the premier. The entire second half of the episode was centered on saving the little girl and then bam. Sooooooooooo did not see that coming.


I kinda saw that coming. Not so much the gunshot, but something. We'd already seen him running with the boy prone in his arms in the previews for the season. I have suspected the buck would freak and either hoof him to the face or antler his ass.
