You can't have a TV show about a haunted house. Eventually it gets stupid because they don't leave *NM*

Hello!
The boyfriend and I have started watching FX's new series "American Horror Story" and really loving it so far. There are three episodes out, but I've only watched the first two.
Premise: A married couple moves from Boston to California with as an attempt to repair their marriage. The house has a history of violent murders, of course, and it appears that each episode starts with a flashback to one of the murders. Creepiness abounds, as one would expect.
Favorite Points:
The technique used with the maid...when females look at her, she's an older woman. However, when she's viewed by males, she's a hot young redhead.
Jessica Lange as the sardonic neighbor who knows more than she's letting on.
The house itself...I have a thing for creepy houses and though it's probably just a set, I love the way it looks.
I like the pacing so far. Each episode exposes a little more and continues to build the mystery.
It's rated MA and for reason: There's a bit of sexual content and a healthy dose of violence, which an overlay of strong language. Nothing too strong as it is still an FX show.

True, but I assume the twist here will be that the main characters aren't dead
