I really liked it Camilla Send a noteboard - 31/10/2011 09:38:27 AM
One or two of the action sequences dragged out a little too much. Especially the dock one (it suffered mainly under a lack of variety, unlike the one down the hill from the Sultan's palace). But I thought it managed rather a difficult job quite well. I had expected it to be much more Hollywoodised. The voices worked well as well. I really liked the dog sections. I also thought they handled Captain Haddock quite well. More like his behaviour in the books than in the cartoon films, if I recall correctly.

The weaving of the three (?) books worked well, I thought. Granted, it has been a few years since I read them. But I did read them very enthusiastically when I did.

It is only the second 3D movie I have seen, but I thought it worked very well. It helped rather than hindered my enjoyment. Apart from the headache I seem to get when I watch 3D (going by a sample of two).
