It could be good, it could be bad. Ideally, I think it should be done in cooperation with the reigning director. Perhaps to solve the regeneration issue.


It's non-canon, non-continuity. It's not meant to fit anywhere in the existing storyline. They basically want a clean slate to tell whatever story they want.
